SwissQual Introduces New Diversity Ranger at Mobile World Congress 2011

World Début for the Lightest, Most Powerful and Robust Portable Optimization and Benchmarking System Swissqual Has Ever Made

SwissQual, the No. 1 supplier of mobile network quality benchmarking systems, will reveal a complete new and unique portable mobile network benchmarking and optimization system - known as Diversity Ranger - during Mobile World Congress 2011.
Diversity Ranger has been designed with the help of local Swiss partners that specialize in ergonomic backpack design for the Swiss Army and the design of high-strength/lightweight airframe components used in helicopters.
When combined with blitzschnell* Core2Duo processors this means that SwissQual's new Diversity Ranger product is the lightest, most powerful and robust portable system Swissqual has ever made.
"When we set out to design new Diversity Ranger, we really wanted to create the most portable, precise, robust benchmarking and optimization product possible," said Hanspeter Bobst, SwissQual VP of R&D. "All the things we learned designing some of the world's most reliable and precise benchmarking equipment, and all the things we learned from inventing the portable optimization category back in 2001 comes together in new Diversity Ranger."
One of the key design criteria was that new Diversity Ranger had to live up to the strong standards and reputation of the existing SwissQual Diversity family: ultra-precise, high performance, high reliability, multi-technology, multi-processor - and 100% made in Switzerland.
That meant a completely fresh approach to how such portable systems are designed; instead of trying to make an existing laptop-based product fit into a suitcase, SwissQual engineers re-designed everything needed to build a high precision benchmarker to fit exactly the shape and size required to make it look and feel like a real mountaineering backpack: the same shape, same weight, same dimensions - even the same materials.
"We custom-designed every part of this product to make sure we were optimizing weight, comfort and performance: from the backpack frame to the processor chassis, from the special protective housing for the test devices, to the comfortable ergonomic carrying harnesses - even to the clever rain protection built into the cover - every single part is designed to fit in a tightly integrated and carefully balanced package that sits just perfectly on the back of the operator" continued Hanspeter Bobst.
